Blish Park/Transfer Stickers

If you need a Blish Park/Transfer Station Pass, PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!! Town Hall is currently closed, and we cannot honor your request on a same day basis. If you intend to park at the lake or go to the Transfer Station this summer, you need to have the ROUND GREEN STICKER on your windshield to gain access. The lots are being monitored by police and will ticket any cars without stickers. If you do not have this pass, you will need to fill out this application and print it out. Once complete, you may do one of the following:

* Mail it to Town Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 29, Marlborough, CT  06447
* Scan and email it to townclerk@marlboroughct.net
* Put it in the drop box outside Town Hall. As soon as we receive it, we will mail it out the same day.

Thank you for your patience with this process!!

Netto Camp

Netto Camp will be offered to our residents this summer.  We have come to this decision after meeting with staff, town leaders and the health department.  The state has mandated that camps must follow certain guidelines to operate safely during the pandemic.  These guidelines will change the camp experience for our staff and participants this summer.  Below is the list of guidelines and changes that are in place for Netto Camp this summer.

1) All staff and campers will have to have their temperature taken each day before entering camp.
2) All staff will be required to wear facemasks during the camp day.  Campers are not required to wear facemasks.
3) Groups sizes will be capped at 10.  Each group will be assigned counselors for the week.  Counselors and campers will only be able to interact with other campers within their group.  They will only be able to do group games, arts and crafts, swim, eat lunch, etc. with their group.  To the best of our ability, staff is mandated to try to follow social distancing guidelines within the group.  It is mandated that groups and staff are not to have any contact with each other throughout the week.
4) There will be no field trips, or outside entertainment at camp this year.
5) Swim time may be limited due to the amount of people allowed on the beach at one time.
6) A "sick room" has been established for any staff or campers who show signs of Covid-19 during the sick day.
7) Handwashing and sanitizing is required before and after eating, after using rest room, after sneezing, coughing, etc., before coming into contact with others in your group, using any equipment, after touching surfaces that may be shared.
8) Protocols for intensified cleaning and sanitizing will be implemented for staff.
9) A waiver must be signed before children can enter the camp.
10) The playground will not be available to use until the state lifts the mandated closure of all playgrounds.
11) There will be no C.I.T. program this summer.

As you can see, these mandates are going to change the camp experience for everyone.  It is going to be a very challenging summer for our counselors.  Another challenge we are facing is the use of the school on inclement weather days.  We may not have the school available to us until Mid July or later.  If this is the case, camp will have to close on days where severe weather is in the forecast.
All of this has made planning and preparing for camp a very different experience this summer.  Our staff is ready, and up for the challenge of bringing an enjoyable camp experience to our campers this summer.  We will be doing our best to offer the same experience within state mandated guidelines.  Please contact me if you have any questions about these guidelines.  Thank you and have a great day!

Blish Park

Blish Park will continue to be open to the public for recreational purposes.  The play scape and bathroom facilities will remain closed at this time.  Lifeguards will not be on duty early in the season.  It is expected we will begin lifeguarding when adequate staffing, training, and safety practices meeting state standards are in place.  Recreation staff will monitor the usage of our facilities and grounds for social distancing compliance.
