Marlborough Parks and Recreation strives to improve the quality of life for residents of Marlborough by providing a wide variety of cultural and leisure activities, special events, facilities, and services encouraging health, relaxation, enjoyment, learning and community involvement.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Pumpkin Decorating Contest – Ages 4-13, Saturday, October 12th, 10am – 2pm at the senior center. Bring your own pumpkin and decorate it with friends. Prizes will be awarded for scariest, funniest and most original pumpkin. All decorating supplies will be provided. No registration is required for this event.

Registration is open for fall programs.
Kayak Racks
Kayak rack rentals will be available to residents beginning on March 1st. Kayak racks cost $100.00 for the season. The season runs from May 1st – November 1st. There is a limit of two racks per person. Kayak rental forms can be found at marlboroughct.net, click on parks and recreation, go to forms. Hard copies are available at Town Hall, and the Recreation Department. All completed forms should be returned to the Recreation Department located in the Senior Center, 17 School Drive.
Forms will not be accepted before March 1st.
Blish Park/Transfer Stickers
If you need a Blish Park/Transfer Station Pass, PLEASE PLAN
AHEAD!! If you intend to park at the lake or go to the
Transfer Station this summer, you need to have the ROUND GREEN STICKER
on your windshield to gain access. The lots are being monitored by
police and will ticket any cars without stickers. If you do not have
this pass, you will need to fill out this application and print it out. Once complete, you may do one of the following: * Mail it to Town Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 29, Marlborough, CT 06447 Thank you for your patience with this process!!
* Scan and email it to townclerk@marlboroughct.net
* Put it in the drop box outside Town Hall. As soon as we receive it, we will mail it out the same day.

Pavilion Reservation Process & Form
Reservations begin January 1st. As always, you MUST BE a resident of Marlborough to reserve the facility and it is a first-come, first-served for dates. A certificate of liability insurance for one million dollars naming the Town of Marlborough as additional insured is required for ALL reservations. It can be provided to us from your own insurance or purchased from TULIP . enter code 0501 - CT0 (that is a zero) where it asks for code. The town does not receive any compensation from this program. This is strictly for assistance and quite often is cheaper than other policies.
A reservation will be held for 72 hours - Your reservation will only be secured once a 50% deposit and a copy of your insurance is received. Both are REQUIRED to secure your date. Pavilion Reservation Form
